Hard-hitting batsman and swing bowler, who idolises Bhuvneshwar Kumar, has shown the ability to move the ball both ways. In 4-day format too, he's no mug, bringing in his all-round prowess. Picking 33 wickets in the Cooch Behar U-19 Trophy for Hyderabad, he was the fourth-highest wicket taker in the tournament and also, accumulated 202 runs with the bat, emerging as a fine all-rounder.

Ajay was rewarded for his consistency, getting picked for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup.
